Same truck used for $20,990 with 67,000 miles on it!

BUYING USED DOESN'T ALWAYS MEAN ITS CHEAPER FOLKS!

In 2007, I looked at three 2006 Toyota Corollas, all priced between $15k and 16K with 20-30k miles.

I purchased a new Corolla LE for $14k at the dealership.

It was NOT a difficult decision.

If I can save up and buy the car outright without any financing or loan then I prefer new.

If I'm on a strict budget then I prefer buying used as its a way better money saver.

That's the catch 22...for most, new cars are too expensive to pay cash for..

I buy new because I can afford to and do not like the odds of getting a lemon some one else got rid of.

I started new when I got tired of those late model "lemons" the prior owner dumped too!

Paying cash for a new car is stupid. Why would you want to tie up a big chunk of cash in a depreciating asset with very low (or 0%) interest rates available?

I know what you're saying, I've driven for over 40 years without one. But, new car designs are making it harder to see directly behind you, windows at higher angles for aerodynamic efficiency and prevailing style, SUV's have a big blind spot directly behind. Besides, all cars will have back up cameras by 2019, so the argument is moot.

Maybe they do not qualify for the low rate.
