Honestly crazy camber/STANCE cars and DONKS are the epitome of whats wrong with the automotive scene over the last few years. These are trends that will die and I'll be able to tell my kids one day just how bad things were back then. Buying 11 inch wide wheels, throwing stretched 255 rubber on it and then setting enough camber to turn the contact patch on the 11 inch wheel to that of a bicycle tire makes absolutely no sense to me. I'm all for properly stanced and lowered cars but this camber mess is just wasteful.

To each his own but I'm always been an advocate of function over form. I understand that cars are often an extension of their owners and we all apply our own stylistic preferences but STANCE and DONK setups seek to ruin the car they are mounted on. DONKS are just hideously heavy wheels that ruin performance and ride quality for no tangible gain beyond appearance while the crazy camber produces a car with ultra wide wheels, skinny rubbers and worse performance than the stock setup on thinner/lighter wheels. I believe in healthy middle grounds. I recently installed 20" wheels in place of my OEM 18's and while the ride quality suffered a tad, the traction and overall performance has improved (I'm running 285's in the rear and 255's up front).
...how does that even work? The Camber stuff I mean.
The camber is one of the angles used to align the tire and car.
I had to take a second look at the photo that was posted and all I could think was WHY? Having your tires angled like that must ruin the traction, handling and the tire sooner than later. I think it looks pretty dumb.
Why would anyone seek to remove the performance from their car? If I was a cop and saw a car setup like that I would give the driver a ticket. It can't be safe in an emergency stop or on wet roads.
I remember those fat exhaust tips and low riding trucks and I would add to that the huge speakers and stereo setups. You know the ones where the car would pull up beside you in traffic and the bass was so loud that it would vibrate the lug nuts on your car loose. The dope inside the car with his hat on crooked and slumped down sideways in the seat might as well be sitting in the back seat bopping his head to the beat.
There used to be so many of those clowns driving around that I'm tempted to invest in a hearing aide company.
