I am just wondering why you asked if you already know so much.
Because I was considering purchasing a Toyota. But unfortunately finding an older model (1980's) around here that fits me has been rather difficult. I'm not fond of any of the ones built in the last 10 years, they look fugly to me.
I would even consider a Nissan hard body like a 1987-88 model but even those are hard to find. Well I did find one but it was overpriced for a salvage titled 200k + miles with bullet holes in the fender.
I own three trucks
1. 1984 Toyota 4WD long bed 22R 231,500 miles one owner (body fully restored, interior perfec.) This truck will be 26 years old this May. Unbeliveable Truck, I wll post a photo some time.
2. 1997 Dodge Dakota 4WD 108,000 (Gas milage 17+ in town 17+ hwy,V6
nice truck.
3.2002 Toyota Tacoma V6 automatic very nice loaded auto everything.
50,000.I love it
Number one truck my 1984 long bed.Not a lot of power but it still kicks booty, You woud have to see it and drive it (still stock)

We recently bought a 1996 Tacoma xcab 4wd, 3.4l v6, 130k.
I will try to get a picture posted, In the mean time if you live in town, you might see us driving around as I still drive it all the time. The miles you speek of on you trucks is really very low. I think you can expect many years of reliable service to come.
I always like the toyota 4WD but have heard alot of guys swearing by the honda ridgeline lately.
the ridgeline is a unibody so it is not a capable as a full framed truck and they don't have a real 4wd system the use all wheel drive and there is no low range but then again if you need 4-lo you are not going to be on paved or gravel roads chances are you will be deep in the woods or stuck in a mud pit
Can't believe more people haven't recommended the Ford Ranger, especially the 2.3 liter 4 cylinder....bulletproof. Had one of them and you can't kill it.
There are sooo many older Toyota trucks rolling around the Grand Valley! How would I know yours?
We are thinking of selling the '94 truck if you know of anyone that's looking....
I can assure you this truck is easy to reconize, It is biege in color and honestly the best looking 84 in town. I did how ever mispeak when I said ther interior was perfect. I do have a hole in the floor mat. If I anyone knows where to find one let me know. This upholstery place found one but it was black I need brown.(I'm not talking about floor mats) Can I just pain it brown?
I do not know any one who is looking for a truck rigt now.
