My 2007 Hyundai Sonata has 102k miles on it now. How many miles do you consider high and you wouldn't think it's a reliable car anymore. I am going to ALbany NY from Charleston SC next month for turkey day. I never had a car this long. When do you think that the car is high mileage and wouldn't take it on a long distance drive?
I am more concerned that I missed a month of my life
100K miles should be no worry on your vehicle provided maintenance is up to date and their hasn't been a lingering history of nagging problems.
These days...all makes should be able to make 100-125K miles easily with very little maintenance. How much beyond that depends on how well a car was maintained. For the most part I feel any decent auto that has been well-maintained should be able to make 150K miles at least.
My daily driver Infiniti has 162K miles on it, has been well-maintained (by myself) since mile 0, and is very reliable. Just yesterday I took it on a 250-mile drive without any reservation. It will go beyond 200K easily.
2006 Hyundai Tuscon and I drive from MI to MA about 4 times a year with no problems - and no worries about doing so. I keep it serviced and had 3 years of trouble free ownership and expect a few more years from it

I have not had a new car since 1973, all my vehicles were bought used, and often from owners like you. I'm not afraid of miles at all, it all depends on what the vehicle was maintained like.
My current vehicle, a 2003 Montana van has 165000 miles on it and has made 3 trips from Florida to Alberta and back in the past 3 years, and will again this winter. It had 140,000 on it when I bought it. It was a family vehicle, well maintained, fully optioned, most which still work. I paid $3200 for it... it owes me nothing. I suspect I may have it for another couple of years unless something major happens, and then it goes to auction.
So, your vehicle is an ideal target vehicle for what I am looking for when I am in the market.
Albany to Charleston is not long distance.
P.S. You have to go to Wooden Robot craft brewery while your there. Like I said, I travel around a lot.

I consider anything with 100-150k miles as just getting broken in. I've driven vehicles with over 250k miles on trips well over 800 miles with zero issues. Maintenance is going to be more important than mileage.
1994 Toyota Camry - 192,000 runs like a champ
1992 BMW E30 - 172,000 miles. Needs some new suspension pieces but all else is fine.
1987 BMW E30 - 287,000 miles, when the odometer stopped working...3 years ago.
Buddy also has a 1994 Camry but with 402,000 miles. Original drive train.
102 is nothing to sweat. Just address issues when they arise, pay attention to the maintenance intervals, and you'll be fine.
Prius with 175k mi on it and it will likely be able to last 300-400k mi because a Hybrid has a electric and gas powered motor. The Electric motor lessens the load on the gas motor which extends life.
I wouldn't take my 2000 corolla on long distance trips . It has over 200k miles and it burns oil pretty fast. The last time I took it on a 5 hour drive , it ran out of oil and almost broke down on me 20 miles before I reached my destination. Plus the cruise control doesn't work correctly so I had blisters on my feet from keeping my foot on the gas the entire time.
Wow, time to get something different, ninersfan. Burning a quart every few thousand miles is no big deal. Burning an entire oil pan's worth in a few hundred is a different story.
Excessive oil consumption is when you have to stop for oil before you have to stop for gas.
