Do you pay less in another country for the same car like a mercedes than paying high for the same foreign car here in the U.S.?

For some model made in Europe, you could do a European delivery. Net cost is the same, but you get a trip to Europe out of it. Mercedes builds its SUVs and maybe a couple of the smaller sedans in the US, so for an American, you can't do a European delivery.
,
As a side note: The models we get in the US are really only the top trims. In Germany Mercedes with manual A/C, cloth seats, 4-cyl diesels, basic radios, etc are very very common.

Our local Mercedes dealer still offers pickup in Germany, including a one hour tour of the factory. With airfare, shipping, and the vacation at a slightly negative currency exchange rate it will not cost less despite any lower price.

A very large number of "foreign" cars are built in the USA.

Some Japanese cars are built here and exported to other countries.

I was wondering because for one, vehicles like a Mercedes or BMW are common in Europe like Toyota's and ford is in the u.s. even the police force inthose countries have benzes and bmws as their patrol cars

You buy Mercedes in Poland. Dirt cheap. Seriously.

In many cases foreign cars are actually cheaper in the US than they are in their home countries. Just due to economical differences between the countries.
