To find a car in very good condition or bring it up to very good condition might take more than your $3500. heres a site that will give you an idea of what these cars sell for=
Street Rods For Sale/Collector Cars For Sale
My parents had a 84 Fleetwood Brougham bought brand new, silver with the maroon vinyl top. It was a gorgeous car, a bit underpowered and seemed to hunt gears. Anyway, about a year later, my mother was driving home one night and was stopped at a stop light. Two scumbags rear ended her. When she got out to look at the damage, a second guy ran around and got in her drivers seat and drove off, she was car jacked! They took her purse as as well. She was left standing on the street median. We think the car probably went to Juarez and into Mexico for drug lords. Fortunately, she was shaken up but not hurt. My parents replaced it with a '85 F-B but it was one of the downsized models. Not as roomy or as elegant , IMHO. They had about 4 other Cadillacs after that one. I am now driving their 05 deVille.
