Last time I went car shopping at a closed dealer the armed guard escorted me off the premises.

I disagree with it being foolish.

To me, it's an indication of the culture of the dealership and that stretches to parts and service. Want to bring your car in later for service? You'll run into shady attitudes. Need warranty work done? You'll run into shady attitudes.

Thought the shops may operate separately, I think that kind of attitude is set from the top and it trickles down to all parts of the dealership.
