Definitely a florida car and perfect for a vacation home pet. A friend of mine in Tampa let me borrow his while I was visiting for a week and it was a fun ride. The Solstice coupe versions have really held their value well! I wouldn't want it for a daily driver but it sure fits your purpose well.
btw, I lived in Florida for years but never saw vents along the bottom of garage doors like you have in your photos. What purpose do they serve?

Oh, Punta Gorda is only 6ft above sea level. I was spoiled in Tampa at a whopping 20ft .
Might want to strap some pool noodles under the Sky just in case
Maybe why I think it is a huge waste of money, I have never been a fan of Corvette, Miata or any of those other little vehicles like that.
So why are you commenting on this thread? Find something better to do with your time. The rest of us who do enjoy these cars (and many others) can continue with the discussion and appreciation. There are plenty of things that I don't enjoy but I don't make an effort to tell those who do about it. The issue here isn't the car but you. You don't even have a specific criticism of the car but an entire class of car which makes your opinion irrelevant.
