They are ok the 08 model is more slick in design surprisingly roomy my brother own one and he is 6 foot five and fit comfortably even with me in back seat. Due to it set so low it has alot of road noise at highway speed.
Scion tc is new name for the toyota corolla

I think you may be mistaken. As far as I know, there is still a Toyota Corolla production car for 2008 as well as a Scion tc model. Even though Scion is a subsidiary of Toyota, the brands and their models are separate product lines. There may be some shared underpinnings and parts but the names have not replaced each other.

The new design is roomier, heavier, more powerful and therefore less fuel efficient than the first generation Xb. Initially the car was relatively bare bones and affordable to the younger buyers so they fueled its popularity and customization. It did have a mixed demographic though and did quite well. Toyota moved the car more mainstream for the next generation Xb and with that move comes the creature comforts, conservative styling cues and evolution of the toyota product. The price also went up which IMO, starts to place the car in a gray area where you have to decide if what you are getting is what you want and if there is not something close enough in price that may be a better car. I have not heard or read anything bad that I can remember offhand. I liked the original better because it was different. The new one is falling in line with the family of Toyota so to speak. Both the old and new Xb have lots of room.

Yeah I think thats the car. When they discontinued the celica, and when scion came out a few years ago, I think the Tc's bloodline has celica roots. I forgot about that car.

Going on a third year of owning the boxy, clown car version
We love it. Spacious, plenty of head room, very zippy on the road. Ours gets about 35mpg combination of city/hiway driving. Despite its small engine, that thing will creep up to 80 without the driver noticing. Due to it being the primary vehicle, it has a few miles on it - getting up close to 60K. There was one pump issue that the dealer took care of without fuss, otherwise it's been nothing but regular maintenance. It's been great for traveling, with plenty of room with the back seat folded down (we're a couple w/o kids, so family traveling might see it differently). It's a smooth ride; we haven't noticed the road noise Sunny remarked upon. That might be in the newer models. I can categorize the comfort based on traveling with our dogs. In previous vehicles, they had a problem with motion sickness. In the Scion, nary a barf. They settled down on their pillows and went to sleep.
When we need another small car, we might go with another xB. I don't care for the new styling. The boxy version was distinctive. That would be the only reason for not choosing another xB. We'd have to take a look and decide if we could live with the swoopy styling.

lol I never thought about that they should make a brown color model.
I hate the ones that are bright yellow.
