Hi, I recently bought a used bmw 325 and a couple of these things came along with the car. It's obviously not for hanging clothes. Any clue what it could be used for? Thanks.

Are you sure it's even an accessory? Maybe something previous owners left in the car?

That looks like packaging for a tie-down strap - the hook on top is where it would hook on to a display peg. You can throw it away.

Looks to be a cargo lashing strap from some SUV.

looks to me like an item that allows multiple coat hangers to be used in one location.
