Having 4 owners means diddly. They all could have maintained it or not, look at the service records. While they do have a good reputation for reliability, Corollas are also known to be very boring, dull cars. Maybe that's why it kept getting sold.

Do you really think someone didn't realize it was a boring car until after they bought it?? "Maybe that's why it kept getting sold"
Maybe they won the lottery, fixed everything and wanted a great car go to a new owner? Maybe they even stashed some cash in it for the new owner.
Maybe we should just stick to what USUALLY happens. IT DOES mean that there were 4 different periods of time where each owner was getting rid of the car. 15/16 records for a 16 yr old car is nothing, Oil changes alone should be twice that, (going off time not just mileage). Routine maintenance should also be twice that. Then comparing that to a vehicle that has been inspected by a mechanic.....
