Our 2008 Honda Odyssey has been making this strange creaking sound when we turn the steering wheel 1.5-2 turns at low speed turns. It's sounds like "Krr-krr-krr" and only at low speed turns. Anyone have any idea what this might be? Very strange, annoying & scaring my mom!

I've had brake wear indicators make a scraping noise during low speed turns. Could also be the CV joints.

Instead of asking a bunch of strangers here......go to a certified auto mechanic and have him test drive the car. That's why they spend years getting their skilled trades certificates. So they are able to diagnose automobile problems, like yours.

It's not rocket science...its auto mechanics.

The power steering pump is working hardest during a low speed turn.

The noise may be caused by a low fluid level. A low fluid level might be caused by a leak.

Check the fluid level and look for leaks.
