Hi - I have a 1985 ford trader that has been converted into a campervan.
It's rear tail brake and indicators are in one unit. I've looked at other threads but am unsure as to what to do - the right indicators - drivers side in NZ - and tail lights all work fine, the left ones aren't flashing. nor is the taillight working - but the brake light in the centre is! I've attached a picture . I've changed the bulb and checked out the wiring at the back that was inside a tube and it was wet inside. so i dried it out - still no joy.
I've taken apart the joner in the pic and it looks fine and "\I;ve checked the fuse ( futilliy apparently because the other side works fine)
can someone give me an idea of what to try next please - i've just bought a circuit tester if that's any use - where do I go from here? I haven't checked the other bulbs as they all glow fine but don't flash - it seems to be something to do with the circuit that goes to both the left taillight and indicator...
help - i'm a novice but willing to try!was going to add a couple of pics but don't have them on a webpage so couldn't ....

The left taillight and turn signal are on separate circuits, but they are likely grounded together so I'd check that first.
