My favorite that I'd like to see is heads up display. Little light that displays the vehicle's speed and any warnings like low fuel for example. This has been out for some time now. So why isn't it in more vehicles today? This could be a safety selling point. See the road ahead and your speed without having to look down at the dash gauges.
Rear cross traffic alert, blind spot monitoring (although this is getting more common) and adaptive cruise control with stop and go capability. Out of these, lack of blind spot monitoring is a deal breaker for me at this point.
Some of the gizmos I don't even use. My car had adaptive CC and lane monitoring and auto park and I could do without it. I'd just rather drive the car.
Blind spot monitoring is one I try not to use. I own a few cars and not all have it so I'd hate to learn to depend on it, then hop in my other car without it. I want to keep myself in the habit of looking over my shoulder.

More display for drivers to ignore while their face is planted on the smartphone on their lap?
I set my cell to mirror display and connect Torque and have HUD. Really. Set cell on dash so that reflection shines onto the windshield.
I'd love to have Auto high beams and headlights that follow steering wheel.
