Ferrari 812 Superfast parked in 3rd st Naples FL this morning....with a Aventador parked on the opposite side about 25 yards down...
My house is in The Woodlands, TX and I see...more than occasionally...two cars at the local supermarket. Each driver parks 'way out' to avoid door dings, and each driver has a very different definition of 'spirited driving'. One of the cars is a 40+ year old MG Midget convertible that is in fantastic condition, and the other car is a Aventador.
A few years ago, on the ground floor of that multi-story garage off of 5th street in Naples, I saw a new Bentley parked diagonally in a handicapped space with no relevant plates, nor a relevant placard .
A 1997/1998 Chevy S-10 pickup — electric! The owner said U.S. Electricar made some of these electric but they never really took off. The side of the truck bore a badge for U.S. E.ECTRICAR.
Turns out, the guy is an electric car engineer. His electric pickup was parked in front of a house, where the driveway had a Nissan Leaf (electric, of course) and also a 1st-gen Toyota RAV4, also electric.
So, 3 electric cars from different eras all parked in one spot.
THE RAV4’s license plate — ELETRUK.

Plenty of Ferraris and Lambos blah blah around here.
The interesting car I saw was a really clean DeLorean.
Here in Detroit metro, classics are pretty commonplace. We rarely see Ferraris and Lambos. Still I tend to get more excited about a really cool classic than some $250,000 - $2 mm car. Especially since, around here, most of the people who own those way expensive cars have no idea how to drive them.
