This afternoon, a gray Ferrari 488 GTB was on the highway. A beautiful car, but with a butthead for its driver. The driver was being a road boulder, driving in the left lane at the speed limit. The highway had four lanes. This 488 GTB was blocking traffic; I passed in the far right lane, and kept on going.
The other day, possibly it was a Toyota BXD10 Mega Cruiser. Its plates: NOT HUMV. I'd seen one before, years ago, and this one I couldn't get close enough for a positive ID.

Those aren't legal to import yet, so if it had a U.S. registration it's hard to see how it could be a Mega Cruiser.

Good to know, thanks.
So it was in front of me in traffic, about 200-300 yards ahead and going the same direction. I thought it was an H1 at first, and I used to have a military license for those (I got out 20+ yrs ago). I worked my way up to closer behind it as I was reminiscing on my good old days of driving one, remembering when they first came out and replaced the M151 Jeeps. I was able to get within 2-3 cars behind it and still thought it was an H1, but, not quite(?), something was perhaps a little different although I couldn't figure out what. Then I saw the NOT HUMV plates and remembered I'd seen the Toyota one years back (of that I am certain), which now must've been a gray market vehicle because of what you say - and that also explains why I'd never seen another one.
If it wasn't the Toyota one then I'm not sure what it was. Maybe it was the H1 and the owner wanted those plates to mean something else. It was definitely not the Lamborghini LM002.
