It's a start. Kia/Hyundai reaching for the stars. First with Equus, then Genesis brand and now this.

Not in love with the look or the name but you have to start somewhere.

Apparently some did not watch the video in original post.

Do you not have a specific answer or do you just not feel like explaining your post?

While the Genesis sports car gets high marks for power and value but very little credit for driving experience. It loses in that area to lesser power cars such as the Subaru BRZ and Mazda Miata.

They don't really have much variety in the sports sedan sector. What is their niche sports sedan and utility sports crossover?

Every car brand has 1-2 niche halo car that defines the brand's capability. Hyundai has none.
The Equus was (is?) a halo car. It would be a nice car for twice what they charge for it but it's still a tough sale in the United States as people with $60k+ to spend on a car would rather have a BMW or Mercedes nameplate on the grill even if they are getting half the car for the money

Again, I suggest viewing the video. It's all there.

Viewing the video doesn't answer the question.

If you don't want to explain your post, you can just say so.

At one time Hyundai was viewed in about the same way Daewoo, GEO and Yugo was. It was literally considered a throw away car. I guarantee you nobody thought Hyundai (or later KIA) would last this long, make the cars it makes or offer RWD luxury and sport cars and sedans.

Sure it's unproven. So is every new car model coming out. But ultimately it's a car. There isn't anything more complicated in this Stinger than there is in a BMW or MB or any other car.

Really? Most of the big 3 crapbox offerings at one time came from those automakers. The Ford Aspire and Fiesta I believe were both rebadged Kias and Daewoo and Geo were mostly what GM crapboxes consisted of. Chrysler got stuck with Mitsubishi... OOPS!

If anyone knew HyundaiKia could cash in on the typical US love for crap, short of the consumers themselves, it was HK itself.

So what's your point? Lots of manufacturers built cars and rebadged them. Isuzu built cars and rebadged them as Hondas. gem built SUVs and rebadged it as a Saab. And so on.... Did that make a Isuzu a "better" car because it had a Honda badge? It's still a Isuzu. Like any automaker Hyundai/Kia learned and got better. They aren't the crapboxes of the 80/90s. You can go on thinking that Hiunday/Kia are not decent cars. Their sales numbers say otherwise
