I never warn, let them pay the fine if they are speeding. I speed sometimes, sometimes I have to pay a fine. If it comes down between paying a speeding ticket and buying groceries, you best slow your butt down and not take the chance right? Oh yeah, that takes common sense and responsibility for your own actions.
For the one who says the tickets fees go to the "policeman's ball", you say your facts are dead on, where is your proof of such a statement? Or is it just paranoid rantings?

If I was a cop, I would purposely ticket all speeders who have those Fraternal Order of Police emblems on their cars. Those are people who tend to speed and think that their donation to the FOP is a "get out of jail free" card.

I say don't flash or signal. It is bad enough we are forced sometimes to "go with the flow" just to safely "get along" and I am tired of it. I have noticed that keeping up with the other vehicles especially on the interstate puts you 10 miles average over the limit. Not safe. But then again neither is trying to observe the speed limit.

You know who they oughta ticket? Those self appointed Speed Wardens who camp out in the passing lane of the interstate, driving precisely the speed limit and forcing everybody to do the same. And when you finally pass them, they have their chin poked out in some self-righteous expression.
Now, somebody please tell me that they always drive at or below the speed limit on the interstate. Can't do it can you?

I drive around the speed limit....usually around 60 in a 55 zone.
You do realize that it is a speed LIMIT right? Meaning that you're not supposed to go over that speed no matter what lane you're in? Someone who is driving 55 mph has every right to drive that speed, despite other morons' need to drive 80 mph. The jackasses who tailgate me always make me slam on my brakes suddenly just to pi$$ them off and hopefully make them pi$$ their pants.
What the hell is the hurry anyways?

I NEVER warn people of a speed trap. If they are speeding (i.e., breaking the law) they should be punished. Speed limits are posted for safety purposes and if someone is blatantly ignoring the laws, why should I warn them. Just like I would not warn someone who is robbing a store about a police car that just pulled up outside, I would not do so for a speed trap. This is ridiculous.

Yes I am one of those that have their chin poked out (LOL)!! That was funny. I try my best to drive the speed limits on and off the interstate, but the speed demons in any lane push you into driving beyond the limit. I have tamed my road rage, because it really used to be unsafe for me and the other driver.
I wish to be a Speed Ticket Policewoman, but does that exist? I would make an enormous amount of money for the policeman ball.

Anyone who makes a donation purely to get that emblem for their car to avoid speeding tickets.

I have been on US-1 with a sign warning of a speed trap. It read "caution speed trap ahead". The funny thing is that people were STILL being ticketed and several highway patrol cars drove past me without saying a word. I was shocked when a neighbor who is a sherrif's deputy told me he liked what I was doing, and told me they had used cardboard police officers to slow drivers down. SInce there was no controversy, I have not done it again.
