HNIC is "Hockey NIGHT In Canada " the Saturday night CBC sports TV coverage of the national hockey league's 3 Canadian home games. One in the eastern time zone ( Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Ottawa ) the central tome zone ( Winnipeg, Calgary Edmonton ) and the west coast ( Vancouver ).
The games run back to back, with the first starting at 7pm eastern, the central one at 9. 30 pm eastern, and the late game at 11.30 pm eastern time.
I like traditional plates with a simple two color design with easy to read letters. An example would be the current New York plate.
Northwest Territories FTW. I also like the Colorado and Oregon mountain scene plates. Wyoming plates from the early 1970s. The ones with the simple design, just the cowboy and numbers. Mostly the black and white ones, but also the yellow and brown. Alaska plates from the 1970s, 80s, and 90s, with the Alaska flag and numbers black/blue on yellow, and pretty much any of the solid color plates from the 1950s and 60s.
I like my amateur radio call sign plates.
The only problem is, the state will not allow me to have the PERMANENT registration with those, because the amateur radio license is only good for 10 years. I think I will put them on the truck anyway. The annual registration is not that expensive on a 1999 truck.
I also liked the old Navy Veteran plates Montana had, with the anchor on them. The new ones have the Navy seal, and they aren't as identifiable.

I have a veteran plate as well and I hate it. It's a seal and it's basically a sticker that doesn't fit over the box on the plate meant to show you where it goes, I hate how trashy it looks now but I wen't through an ordeal getting it in the first place so am now stuck with it.
