Does your GPS have "Avoid Toll Roads" option? (best, power)

Got my GPS from a Mariner. He didn't need it for his boat. Yup GPS works on sea and land.anyways ...It's rather an old model....Think etchasketch!

My Waze app has told me that I should please not use Waze on a Plane.
Since I live in the Desert Southwest where Toll Roads are both rare and scarce . . . I believe my Garmin GPS has the "avoid option" but I have never found the need for it.
I accidentally chose the option to avoid toll roads going to pick up DH at the airport. I was surprised at directions for getting off a major road and evenytually wound my way off of secondary roads to the back roads through the suburbs of Orlando. It was the most convoluted route possible and by the time I realized the problem, I thought it was too late to backtrack. I barely made it to the airport before the plane landed and I thought I would have tons of time to read a book.
Until then, I had no idea choosing no tolls was an option.
GPS is my lifeline through the jungles of Washington DC.
My first smartphone years ago had an option to avoid toll roads when getting driving directions. I selected that option every time.
My current phone seems to have no such option and has gotten me into trouble at least three times, directing me onto toll roads when there are perfectly free alternative routes available.
I speculate that current GPS incarnations have been bribed by the Dept of Transportation to eliminate the option to avoid toll roads on GPS devices because toll roads = great revenue for the Dept of Transportation.
Does your GPS device still offer you the option to avoid tolls?
Maybe it's just you and not the government? I've had numerous GPS devices and they ALL have had an option to avoid toll roads including the one built into my vehicle. Dept of Transportation doesn't make money on tolls. The tolls go to the state.
My Garmin allows me the option to avoid toll roads, but I have no idea if my car or my truck have it, as I don't live anywhere near a toll road. I only know the Garmin has it because I stumbled across it one time.
My wife used Google Maps and it took her through a toll road even when there were plenty of alternatives... she didn't realize it was a toll road... didn't realize it was an option on google maps.... personally, I rather it be automatic for avoid toll road and you have to select to use toll roads to change it...
