I know the Hummer H1s have very nice interior amenities even though it was never known as a purely luxury vehicle, based of the military predecessor, the Humvee, but the problems with Hummers that I can think of is the size of the vehicle. Its size may not fit into a garage unless if your garage is beg enough. The main problem with most Hummers is that they have poor gas mileage. Any thoughts?
the H1 is the only Hummer I would buy if I was rich. It's a beast but you probably won't fit in a normal garage. If you can afford a H1 gas mileage isn't a concern. the H2 and H3 are pretty bad and normally seen in mall parking lots
Hummers (especially the H1) have very spartan interiors. As in, little to no amenities compared to any mass market SUV with a comfort or convenience package, and downright paltry compared to a luxury SUV.
About the only thing great with the H1 is the ability to inflate/deflate tires from within the cockpit. That isn't something that only the H1 can do however, the Mercedes G class can also do this. I'm sure there are others.
It's an incredibly slow gas guzzler. Honestly, horsepower is pretty sad for all different engines used, torque was acceptable, but still less than some contemporary SUVs at the time.

Same here, the only Hummer that I would consider buying if I have a license and if I can afford it is the Hummer H1, especially with the diesel engines.
i too would only get the H1 model hummer. the biggest issue with them though is the lack of interior room for the occupants. the trans tunnel is extremely wide which intrudes on any room the occupants have.
the H2 and H3 hummers are just fuglied up versions of the chevy tahoe and blazer(?).

H1 was semi-spec so they could be had with okay interior amenities. Not much in the design department, but you could get them with decent leather and such. Basically straight out of the '80s style though.
Downsides, terrible handling, one of the only things in existence that makes a Prius look like a rocket ship, gas mileage, operating costs, driveability on public roads (big, very poor turning radius, bad ride quality).
Pros (as compared to a normal SUV): none that I can name.
Cons: You will look ridiculous.
