2017 Kia Forte - does not have a spare but I have roadside assistance also so I don't worry about it much. It does have some tire thingee that is supposed to fill a flat. If I traveled a lot I would consider getting one.
My car does not. I figure it's because it's a police car, that it doesn't. Somebody tried to tell me that there was some sort of law stating cars- at least used ones are supposed to have one. Being an 08 it would typically have a full size spare. I think 09 or so to 11 only have space-savers.
My 91 Blazer had a fullsize spare. even had a factory wheel chock.
Our 2016 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid has only a fix-a-flat kit. The space in the back that would usually hold the spare is needed for the battery. Mr. Bay is freaked out over this, but I'm not. We have AAA and the manufacturer's road service, and most of our driving is in the city, so I don't think it's a big deal.

My first experience with the empty donut and a can to fill.
This was a used family car that I got. It was a tad old by the time I got it.
The car never had a flat. Spare tire and can were never used.
When time for me to use. Got a flat tire on highway. Got the spare tire out and the can.
Except the can would not work. No matter how I tried. Got nothing from the can. And no, no one had used it before.
GMC Sierra, like the Chevy Silverado usually have steel rimmed spare tires. Spare tire is usually a different size than the road tires; however, the tire and rim will be the same overall diameter as the road tires. That is all that is needed to prevent damage to the differential(s) and to keep the steering in line and the vehicle balanced.
On lower trim models the tire size this the same size as the spare but on a plain steel wheel. On nicer trucks you get the bigger wheels but the spare is still the 245/17 steel wheel.
My daughter's Spark has a spare tire well under the rear hatch area. It is shaped like a spare tire, however it is mostly filled with Styrofoam holding a can of Fix-A-Flat in the middle.
Funny thing was, she got a flat tire and discovered the Fix-A-Flat did not work, it had no pressure in the can.
I had a 1995 Camaro Z28. It had a folded up mini-spare to save space and a can of compressed air. After several years, I got a flat. I put the little folded up tire on and the can of air was empty. I used fix a flat to fill it. Drove about 300 feet and the spare basically disintegrated.
