Maybe a silly question but does walmart do alignments if you buy tires?

not to my knowledge, but even if they did, why would you even consider walmart as a place to have car repairs of any kind done?

Reinforcing this

They goof up oil changes regularly... imagine what they are capable of with a tie rod sleeve or camber cam...

Heck yes they do. It seemed like every single time I took my cars to Walmart they would screw up SOMETHING when doing a simple oil change. Heck, my father lives over a hundred miles away from me and even they screw up simple oil changes over there too. The most common issue is not installing the drain plug properly. A very costly mistake if not caught early. I haven't brought my cars back since, and it's been years now.

I don't think my Walmart even carries tires. They definitely don't do oil changes or other car repairs.
I had keys cut there a couple of times; they never worked, so I go somewhere else. I would expect car repairs to be similar.

Double gasketed oil filters, stripped oil pans, too much or not enough oil...
