should be used on motorcycles because they are so noisy i dont think its needed for a Mustang

Sounds like an implicit admission that the car is designed to be noisier than it needs to be. Which I guess makes sense to the target audience for V8 Mustangs.

If you can generate exhaust noise, you can just as easily shut it off. To me, this is a feature to be found in the JC Whitney "ricer" catalog, not on a production performance vehicle.
