Our kid's friends will use it to avoid attracting police attention, but then turn it off when they drive by our house. They think it is funny to make as much racket as possible when they drive past.

Ive never thought the factory exhaust was all that loud to start with. This must be an added feature or something exclusive to maybe the track pack or something. (or did I miss that in the article/video?)

We've been far, very far from "The Humbler" as Edith and Archie Bunker might said:"Those were the days!"

Noise lovers love to subject other people around town to their noise. Just look at Harley riders.

I occasionally uncork the headers on my hot rod and drive it that way. I figure loud pipes save lives.

A customer brought his new Mustang Shelby GTR 350R to show me one day, and new cars generally don't do a lot for me, but dayam ! That thing is sweet. He has a control on the dash for quiet or loud exhaust, and it wasn't exactly quiet in either mode, but is sure was cool.
