It appears a hose has bust. Any "easy" ways to pinpoint the leak?

It's coming from the thermostat-ish area, not water pump (other side of car) or heater core so it's likely a hose.

Run the car, get it hot........with the system pressurized, you should be able to spot most leaks with a flashlight.

A great mechanics trick is to splash soapy water on the hose, then look for the bubbles coming out of the soap. Used to detect air leans, but works for water too.

Why not just replace all the hoses? If one is going the others are probably as well.

This is a good suggestion: If you're already going to replace one hose, I definitely would replace all the other water hoses at the same time. The additional cost is very small.
On several cars, I've replaced the hoses if they had more than 30k+/- miles, when some other service was required.
IE: I had a radiator blow out, changed hoses as well. Ditto water pump. Ditto head gasket.

I even got a discount on the labor when my water pump needed changing, as pulling all the hoses first, made it easier to do the pump swap.

Are you sure it's not coming from a homeless midget who crawled into your engine compartment to keep warm?
