Sure.

Cars are very safe nowadays and I bet automated driving programs either now or will soon be far safer than many of the drivers already on the roads today.

Nope. Driving is fun. Why let automation take the fun from me?

I would never feel safe in a driverless vehicle. I might in ride in a driverless Army tank.

Today they still require an operator just in case but soon we will have totally driver less cars. Tesla is testing large trucks that will operate on the highways without drivers.

I don't use uber but many do so say if a driver less car or taxi pulls up to pick you up and take you where you want to go would you get in?

Would you feel a bit awkward sitting in the back and being driven to your destination?

The future is closer than we think.

Would you ride in a car that does not have a human operator?
No, hell no!

Yes, because of my failing eyesight and living alone . . .before too long I won't qualify for a driver's license. Taxi rides get expensive and don't like to keep asking people to cart me here and there. Bus service is not near my home and isn't feasible during winter's extreme weather anyway.

Would I get in one just for sh*ts and giggles? Sure. Would I use it everyday? Probably not.

Driverless cars are programmed to go the speed limit, and there are places around here where the posted speed limit is just too slow. Also, what about when people won’t let the driverless car merge? I’m I supposed to just sit there all day and wait for a nice person to let ‘it/us’ in?

Heck NO NEVER EVER in my lifetime. I will never set foot in one of these death machine robots!! It would be a cold day in hell before I ever did!!

The idea of having to share the road with even a little but of them is terrifying enough!!!

Let this technology be banned forever please or at least for my lifetime which is probably another 40-50 years!!
