Might be sacrilege, but maybe the owner of the vehicle restored it, but the numbers matching motor could not be salvaged. At that point, you can throw whatever you want into it and maybe the owner thought an electric motor would be something different to tackle.
. Oops, sorry, I meant straight six. My uncle imported an XK-120 right after the war.
