$2.8990 in Budd Lake/Netcong/Stanhope, NJ but there's an Exxon on US 206 in Flanders on charging $3.1190.

It's gonna vary from town to town and station to station no matter where you are.

It's $2.62 around here in upstate SC, but I can go 20 miles south of Greenville to Laurens and there's stations having a price war and you can find it for $2.52 there.

Folks.. 5 years ago, we were paying close to $4/gallon.. It could be worse.

Well I'm not going to complain about $2.74 for top tier fuel here in Orlando then.

$5 gas? It was a reality at at least one station in the US on Tuesday, specifically at a Mobil station in Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen, reports Fox5NY.

There is a gas station in Bridgeport, CA that always has very high gas prices. I'm sure it's $5 per gallon there by now.

Thanks to Governor Brown, diesel here is $4+ per gallon in many places.

No surprise. There is a gas station around 23d St and the Drive. Gas was a few cents short of $4 when I was there in December while it was $2 here in Phoenix.

Now Phoenix gas prices have shot up to $3 in the past month or so. Wouldn't surprise me to see NYC prices go to $6 soon.

Glad I don't live there.

This is because it's in Manhattan. Thanks to their high rents, everything (for example McDonald's) costs more than in the rest of the metro area.

While we are more expensive than most of the nation, we are not as bad off in gas prices as California. I live a few miles north of the Bronx and I've mostly seen prices in the $3 to $3.39 range for regular.

Why doesn't the article specify if this is for 87 or 9x Premium? Which is it?
