Jaguar Land Rover have recently opened a new Renovation Division. They renovate their old models - all done by the original maker in their factory. It is quite large indeed. I believe they were buying old cars then fully renovate them (down to the bare metal and new or re-manufactured parts), selling them from Jaguar Land Rover showrooms, with a full factory guarantee.
Have a look. You may have to turn the sound on, at the bottom of the vid.

Take note other manufacturers.

And who owned jaguar at onetime let’s see Ford but they sold it because it’s not a money maker. Ford sold it to Tata motors, who cannot even sell a automobile in the the United States.

You post is totally off topic. This is about manufacturers seriously getting into the renovation business. BTW, Ford sold Jaguar because they needed money as the USA division was in trouble. Jaguar Land Rover is highly successful, as it is being run entirely as a UK entity with no interference from Tata.

What ever you say but jaguar is not a great selling car hardly ever see one. Maybe that’s why they have to restore the older ones because they cannot sell enough new ones there sales are pathetic.

Jaguar Land Rover last year made over half a million vehicles. They are on shifts because they cannot supply enough to China. Jaguar's older cars are even in demand, so much they take them back in and re-make them as new. Jaguars are highly prized in the USA.

I would rather have one of these than a pickup truck:

GM and Ford should have similar divisions.

Even a 1968 E-type sourced from the USA and made into an EV, and as new. If you want one Jaguar will give you one.

That E-Type is still beautiful after all these years!

One of the ALL-TIME great automotive shapes!

Personally, I'd like to see them make a few 'C's.

The Jaguar man said in the vid that they did the EV E-Type conversion so that when petrol is hard to come by people can still drive the cars. Yes EVs will make petrol very rare when they come in big time.

Even Enzo Ferrari said the best looking car ever made was the E-Type.

My 'Fantasy Five' in no particular order would be:

Ferrari 246 Dino GT

Ford GT-40

Jaguar 'C' Type

Jaguar 'E' Type

Lamborghini Miura

Of course many more could be added with ease.

The interior in that silver 'E' is gorgeous!
