Default smell of gas?

The inside of my car is smelling like gas when I turn the heat on.. its quite overwhelming sometimes but I need the heat to melt the ice.. It doesn't happen with the A/C anyone know what could be causing this?

I'd check/have it checked for a gas leak NOW! Before the car turns into a fireball.

Default Get it Checked ASAP

Don't take a chance... you should never smell gas... ever in a modern car.

When CA changed it's fuel formulation several years ago there was a rash of car fires.

The new fuel was very hard on rubber fuel hoses and they would disintegrate from the inside out.
