Makes sense to try and cater to a large portion of the public that still drives. I know my wife’s mom loved driving her little Mazda till the day she had to be placed in a assisted living. She absolutely loved the freedom the car gave her.

If they bring back Crown Vic's or real, full size Lincoln Town Cars I'll look. Otherwise I'll just keep this nice roomy, comfortable F150.

Since the only car they will be selling is the mustang, it makes sense they try to capture some of the boomer market with a van.

They've been selling the Transit Connect as a passenger van since it's introduction. What is changing is their marketing - they are now going to target a new demographic.

But they are also tweaking it by adding a few things that boomers like.

If you look at the design of the European and Japanese minivans, used in those countries, this has been a trend for a while now.

I'll take my Subaru Outback. Comfy, includes all the smart technology. I really love the adaptive cruise control, and I see them everywhere!

Well, in Oregon anyway.

Ford now makes a diesel F150, and a hybrid is coming. With Mustang the only car. Imagine a hybrid or even a diesel Mustang. I cant. Like putting ketchup on a hotdog.
