Not sure if you've heard of the Roxor. I hadn't. If you missed the simplicity the 1950s Jeeps, here is your chance again, and a Diesel no less.

My dad used a Willy's WWII -era jeep to practice for his driving test back in the mid-'50's.

I know it's not the same exact type of vehicle but I really wish we were getting the Jimny here in the US.

This market is seriously deficient in affordable AND reliable 4x4s

Nice, but limited market potential with no certification for the street available.

"Towing capacity is about 3,490 pounds, and rear payload capacity is only 349 pounds. Maximum speed is limited to 45 MPH—that’s a similar top speed to that of an old Willys CJ-2A. Fuel economy, Mahindra claims, is somewhere around 32 MPG based on company testing."

Not sure what the target market is for this. Not street legal.

The target market are side by side owners who want to do more serious rock crawling as modifications are easily done.

Is it is JeeP or not?

It sure looks like one despite the 5 slot grille V the 7 so I wonder if there is any copyright infringement?

Carol Shelby took Cobra replica manufacturers to court for "stealing his design". He wasn't successful but it dragged on for years.

I wonder what JeeP thinks about these buggies?

Mahindra has tried to come to the US so many times before but they have never done so. The Suzuki Jimny is a better deal but sadly, Suzuki pulled out of the US years ago.

I restored a WWII era WIlly's way back in the 90's. They are fun off road. On regular paved roads they are noisy and slow.

It was bullet proof and very easy to work on.

WOW, HappyRider . . . great find.

Interesting they look much more like a copy of the old CJ's by American Motors Corporation than Chrysler's Wranglers and, once again . . . no "CJ Model Name" being mentioned.

Very similar to Chrysler never using the "CJ Model Name" since taking over way back in 1987 after AMC shut down.
