Too funny. I had two Kia Souls and then decided I didn't want a third one when my lease was up. I hate the way they look in the back and that everybody around here seems to have one. Reminds me too much of The Cube (Scion I think).

What difference does a label make? People are very comfortable using "SUV" to describe a plethora of vehicles that offer neither "sport" nor "utility", so why are we picking on the Soul?
Oh I just wanted to know what you guys label it at best, yeah I too don't give a damn what the general public labels it.

Is just nice thinking how much of a unique bodystyle the vehicle has.

Ironing iron on 4 wheels with two old style phone handles for rear lights? As it's shaped just like an iron.

Same class as the Element and the Cube, I think these hideous creations deserve their own class, they don't fit into any I can think of. I'd never be caught dead in one, so I'm not the person to come up with the name. The form is terrible and since their shape is as unaerodynamic as possible their function is also terrible. They are like an artist's rendition of a rejection of both form and function. The appeal of these vehicles is lost on me.

What would you classify the Nissan Cube or the Scion XD?

I would like to see the boxy body shape of the Soul directly applied to minivans or crossovers. Could you imagine how much third row headroom and cargo room there’d be? Fuel economy would suck though.

Does it really matter? Either you want one or you don't.

I love mine! It's fun to drive, great for jetting around town, easy to park, easy to get in and out of, easy to see out of and I can get 15+ large bags of potting soil in the back in the spring!

I don't care what you call it
