It's only when they actually do cut me off.

And to answer your question, they go about their day completely unaware that they've done something wrong that could result in the serious injury or death of innocent people.

It's pretty surprising no one seems to care about the safety of themselves and their loved ones and are perfectly content with letting maniacs operate with no rules or consequences.

Thanks for weighing in. I appreciate and respect you.

36, it appears that many people on here are part of the problem in society today. They blame the reaction, not the action.

Disconnect your horn. Granted, next time this happens you'll be making more noise inside your car than out, but the life you save may be your own.

"Oh, dear, I've done something wrong that could result in the serious injury or death of innocent people. I nearly went about my day completely unaware."

Maybe something got lost in translation.

Stuff like that.
If you're an attentive driver you can usually see stupid coming your way. You can can often anticipate someone about to make an erattic maneuver if you are observing the traffic around you.

Don't speed. Don't drive in the passing lane unless passing. Learned in Driver's Ed in high school. Review a rules of the road handbook several times a month. Been driving for twenty plus years. Rarely drive in rain or snow.

Gotta admit...I'm pretty shocked by how many people believe dangerous driving is not a big deal.

Thanks, friends.
Doesn't like to drive in the rain, needs to review the rules every couple of weeks, always stays below speed limit - sounds like a nervous, unsure driver. I'd suggest downloading the Uber app and using it regularly.

OP, you will learn that there are quite a few on here who (mistakenly, IMO, based on what they say) consider themselves to be excellent drivers who feel that silly things like traffic laws and speed limits and safe driving habits just spoil their fun and should not be obeyed or apply to them (but the "slow drivers keep right" law is sacred and must ALWAYS be obeyed - by everyone else, of course).

Yep, and if they OPs driving skill hasn't developed better than that in 20 years, it's probably not going to improve much now. Some people just shouldn't be driving.

You and 36_Chambers seem to be hitting it off very well.
