Looking for a large'ish SUV where you can lay the back seats down flat for easy car camping. Any advice?

A Suburban might have enough with all rows other then 2nd captain chairs row? I'm clueless. I slept in my Cayenne twice this summer. I fit ok, being 6 ft, but wasn't the greatest and wasn't flat. I slept with my head higher then my feet and my back was destroyed the next day both times. Ran into a guy at our spot, he figured it out, awd mini van with all seats taken out. He camps in it 20+ nights a summer, it's perfect!!

Chevy Express Van.

If you get a converted van it will have a rear sear made to convert to a small bed. If you are tall though, you will end up sleeping on the floor between the captains chairs.
