Tire stores are usually ripoff joints. All the chain stores are there to take your money in any way they can. Prices are jacked up bigtime and then they nickle and dime you on installation, balancing, etc. Just read the customer reviews if you doubt this.

Discount Tire has given me solid mileage credits several times. I just keep up with the rotations . Granted, they need to get to a certain tread depth. This is on top of a good negotiated price going-in.
