Shouldn't this be in the local Detroit forum?

I would not buy a used vehicle from a state that uses as much salt on their roads. Doubly so since Michigan has no state inspection. Triply so since Vermont state inspections are so strict.

State inspection is a money maker for the state just like we use to have emissions testing that was another scam and no longer needed in Michigan. In other words you would not but a vehicle from any other northern state as well right. Michigan isn’t the only state that uses salt on their roads.

He also said Vermont in his post so I do not think he is picking on Michigan alone. Right?

Anyone buying older used cars from any northern states should expect rust from salt.

The article was relating to 2018 and 2017 model years not going to be full of rust.
