Challenger all the way! Hopefully, the prices will come down from the stratosphere so we mere mortals can buy one. I saw it at the Chicago Auto Show and it looked fantastic.

I have to Vote for the new Camaro. I like the angles on the new Camaro it looks more beefier/masculine than the Challenger also more modern. Is it because I was born in the mid 70's I like the more angular bodyline over the curvy ones in exception of the Stingray Covette. To this day I feel it was the best styling ever for the vettes.

Went for a ride in the new Challenger, it is so sweeeeeet. The interior is similar to the 70 Cuda. Dodge (Chrysler) got this one right.

I voted Challenger because they did a great job with keeping the vintage look but adding some sleek lines. But I am still in love with the Camaro, I would personally own both

You do realize that the camaro was on the drawing board long before dodge even thought of making this new challenger? Once GM released the plans and photos, ford rushed like 3 new body types in a year, then dodge with the charger and challenger.

Just because it is coming out later, doesnt mean they copied If anything, dodge and ford are copying gm. Compare the photos.. Dodge at least made theirs slightly more retro rather than ford which basically copied the hybrid new-age/muscle car look.. But the shape and size of the windows, the top, the upcurve of the rear end, the basic shape of the front end. And hearing that they have a retro interior, as the camaro has planned all along(before the new challenger was even concieved)

Also, as someone compared the new challenger to the opel manta(yet another GM vehicle), I think that dodge has a problem thinking up their own designs. Of course they have downsized so much I doubt they have anybody left to actually think of stuff.

I would prefer the Challenger, but I don't believe I would own either unless I was able to pick one up for cheap. I would rather have a G35 or G37

I have to respectfully but wholeheartedly disagree. The Challenger pays much homage to its 1970's era bloodline. You can see the previous version in this new car. The Camaro looks like a futuristic sports car, not a retro to the old Camaros. But then again, Chevy keeps missing the point. I remember in 1980 or so, they used to say that the Chevy Citation coupe had the body lines of the 68 Camaro! Yeah, ok.

Sorry, but Challenger wins this comparison hands down. And am I biased? Nope, I own a retro style Mustang!

Compare side to side ,camaro hands down.A bit tired of the retro look.Ford with the mustang, now that fugly dodge, quit it please.I'll rather take a used 2008 corvette over both anyways.A 2007 jaguar xkr,now we're talking.

FYI, 1990 was the last year of the IROC-Z, but the 2nd gen body style continued till '92.

I think the Challenger is ugly, but I don't like the ones from the 70's either. We'll see if Dodge can make the tranny last longer than 50k miles.
