Good info, I didn't see any HHV in these HD trucks. (Tho it may be embedded in the details)

For HD applications that are not weight or space constrained HHV can help assist EV in 'city' type conditions.

Since I don't live in or near a city... I will stick with bio-fuel (As I have since 1976)

I'm on board. I have no interest in Hybirds, plug in hybrids or pure electric.

The subject has come up a couple of times in my house but we are all on the same page. No hybrids and no electrics. We currently live in Chicago but are considering leaving for a number of reasons already. If there was some kind of mandate to own a hybrid here it would make the decision that much easier.

Range is my concern. Out here in West TX, when you are traveling 80 MPH and the A/C is going full blast, charging stations aren't close by. There are mountain ranges to cross. I have a hard time believing 300 miles on a charge in those conditions. IF IT CAN Accomplish that, then I will be first in line.

I saw that video of trying to drive a Tesla from LA to Las Vegas and they had to turn the A/C off and slow down in order to not stop. It may be better now , but I will wait until it is more proven technology.

Honda uses some cylinder honing process that makes their engines more efficient. If GM took notice they could stop copying Volkswagen by turbocharging everything and using auto stop/start and go back to a pushrod motor that doesn't need to be a tiny 3 cylinder with a turbocharger.
