In SUVs, I'd look at the Subaru Forester, Mazda CX-5 and Honda CR-V... and you might just want to wait for the all-new 2020 Subaru Outback that's coming out at the end of the year which may give more of a car-like ride with plenty of cargo space... and when you try out the all-new Outback, you might also try the all-new 2020 Ford Escape, which is being made even more car-like I understand, but retains a big cargo area.

If comfort is your top priority then the MKC will be the better choice here. Lincoln designs their vehicles for comfort and quiet, where BMW is more on the sporty end of things so the vehicles ride firmer.
But you should test drive both vehicles yourself and then you'll know which one you like better.
Thanks yes comfort in the Kia I feel every little bump on I95 the passenger window rattles to point of distraction and they have not been able to fix
With a lease you are paying for the depreciation on the vehicle while you have it, so it makes sense to choose models that have the lowest amount of depreciation. Typically, this will be Japanese makes, while the domestics, German, and Korean makes will be at the opposite end of the spectrum.
Nonsense. The KIA isn't a quality car. You only live once---buy something you'll enjoy driving and being seen in.
Yes. If money is no object. And you don't care if you are tossing a bunch of money up in the air. Then go for it.
Otherwise, a Toyota RAV4 is the better choice. Or the Toyota Highlander if one wants a bigger SUV. Both hold value greatly and your money/savings/finances will be in a much better position.
To be honest, I don't quite get the brand appeal of Lincoln. It's a dressed-up Ford positioned in the luxury segment. If you like a Ford, buy a Ford and max out on options if you have the money. But if you think Ford isn't good enough...why would you buy a dressed-up Ford. It's like a McMansion of cars.

What's not to get? it's like Lexus to Toyota, Infinity to Honda.
I'd totally go for the lincoln over the BMW - I haven't test driven either, but based on reviews and prior BMW crossovers the ride quality is going to favor sporty over comfort.
How often do you make drives 600+ miles? lol I’m not making a car choice based on that metric ever
