I agree. That was my first thought, when I saw the pictures. I always thought that the 1970 Barracuda was one of the best looking American cars, ever. Now there's one less of them, in the world.

NONSENSE!!!! If you know how to PROPERLY handle a high performance car, you don't need to worry about how strong the roof is, because you're never going to put the car on to it!
News flash... Many people don't know how to handle a high performance car, and even those that do can crash and roll the vehicle. That's why race tracks require hard tops or roll cages for convertibles. An old mild steel unibody like the Dodge is almost as bad as a convertible
Guy should have done a couple of track days or track schools, learn how to handle that car.
To master the obvious, anything with Hellcat power has to be handled with considerable discretion on the street. Hell, that's true of a base level 383 with a single 4-barrel carb. But 707 horsepower can get car speed up above brain speed in just a couple of seconds.
Very true. Cuda’s were all the rage when I was in high school. Of course, only the rich kids drove them. The rest of us had to ‘make do’ with GTO’s, Firebirds, Camaro’s, and the like. I remember one in particular that had a 426 Hemi that made all of us more than a little jealous. You had to know how to handle that kind of power.
The only thing real is the appearance. It’s a lot of carbon-fiber parts made to look like a real one. The rest is also highly customized and very $$$$. I’ll bet he had $600,000 in it.
I had a friend who had this same car minus the higher performance engine. As it was "stock," was still fast and too much to handle in the curves of the ozarks. My friend did basically the same thing. It was before cell phones so he staggered to a nearby house and called me for a ride home. I hope this guy learns his lesson. My friend didn't. Fast forward ten years and he did the same thing driving a four wheeler on a gravel road. He didn't call me that night, someone else had to. RIP Terry.
People who can afford very high performance cars should also pay for the high performance driving lessons. Just because you have a driver’s license and can drive regular powered cars safely doesn’t mean you know how to drive performance cars safely.
When Dodge put the Hellcat engine in their modern cars, those cars also have all sorts of gizmos to make inexperienced drivers safer. Take that engine and drop it in a classic muscle car and you don’t have those gizmos nor the special suspension and body structure to handle the torque and power this engine puts out. Very easy to lose traction and stability. The speeds it’s capable of doing in an instant can mean a deadly accident for the people in this car and whomever they hit. But if the owner took the car to a performance and defensive driving school he or she would have a safe environment on which to learn how to handle the torque and power this vehicle puts out as well as how to handle the car’s suspension including how to recover should they feel the rear sliding.
Wasnt this clown in another car "accident" a year or so ago? I think he settled with walmart for their truck causing the accident and he got hurt.......Maybe theres more to that story too....
