Mythbusters did probably their grossest episode ever involving the myth of the "$500 corvette" or similar very low price.
Apparently the owner died and was in the car in the heat for a week or more and the smell just wouldn't come out.
So, they tested it using a hog carcass.
Encased the car in plastic and put in a sealed shipping container...fast forward like a week or two.
They could smell it just walking towards the container and were wearing hazmat. Puking began right after opening the door of the shipping container and got worse from there.
They tried cleaning but declared the car beyond hope as the odor permeated every single thing from the upholstry to the vents to the filters to the nooks and crannies in the dash and frame etc.

So, fortunately your situation isn't so dire. I'd hit the trunk hard with the cleaners people advised and also see about airing it out with everything open for more time.
P.S. Might be able to find it here on the forum with a search but I recall a similar thread wehre a poster left Chinese food under their seat before going away for like a week to a job (utility linesman perhaps if I recall). There may be some useful advice there.
Trade it, set it on fire, leave the keys in it in a bad area..............Just get rid of it.
So, no juice ;leaked, and it still stinks? Must have been some on the outisde of the bag. Just pull the fabric out and chunk. Youll never get the smell out 100%, and you wont be happy until the car is gone.
While you go through the advice from other forum members, check the cab's heat/AC airflow direction. The lever should be so that there is fresh air coming into the cab. Otherwise the air in the cab, stink and all, would be recirculating
It the lever happens to be on the recirculate position, then the smells would be present in the cabin air filter too. Instead of flammable air sprays, use a non-flammable one.
No luck, gut the trunk liner. If that gets rid of the problem visit a junkyard for a replacement.
Ugh, I hope I don't have to do that. My brother suggested an Ozone machine, but he said I'd have to rent it, I'm hoping a simpler measure will work. My bf and I took it to a birthday party yesterday and he wanted to drive with the windows open even though it was in the 40's!

That was what Jerry did in the end, he actually tossed the keys to a shady looking guy...who got in the car and promptly back out! No, it was a factory sealed bag, so I'm sure nothing leaked. Plus I had the factory sealed bag in a plastic grocery bag.
Is it on the rug inside the trunk? I'd pull that out and buy a new one
No, nothing leaked out at all.
