the U.S is the saudi arabia of Coal, we could finaly start exporting some of this stuff to china for once lol.

Actually....that scenario is not far from reality and could easily happen. Here in Alaska, we are already exporting coal to South Korea. There is a coal ship-loading facility here in Seward. About once a month or so a cargo ship comes here and takes on a full load of coal, bound for Asia. The coal has it's source at the Usibelli Coal Mines, near Healy, Alaska, and is brought to this port via the Alaska Railroad...
