IDK, those are popular in Australia with the muscle-car crowd. Plus, it will be a big hit with the El Camino/Ranchero lovers Im sure. Time will tell....
I think it will find its' share of buyers who are discouraged with how large the smallest pick-up's have become. Over the past 10yrs., i've noticed many more tradespeople going to station wagons(Taurus/Sable/Magnum). The expensive lesson that GM may get, is that this thing is going to steal Colorado/Canyon sales if gas continues to spiral.
The SSR was never intended for work. It's a convertible pick-up truck with a miniscule cargo bed. Sunny day toy.
Oh yeah, I forgot to say earlier that I think the SSR is about the fugliest, retarded, underperforming, overpriced POS "truck" ever. I cant believe that hideous, fugly contraption has somewhat of a following. I guess they had the SSR's window sticker in brail, as the blind were the only people who bought them things.

Still more practical than a Corvette-------and, a 6.0L SSR is a fast son-of-a-gun
They can't afford the cost of alot of new model vehicles because they are lossing money now.
