Default 1990 camry

1990 camry , today my car was running, the ac,hot/cold gadge, power windows/power door locks , all stopped working at the same time.

all other lights, signals, etc. are working fine.

the fuses all look okay,, can it be a relay switch ? or????????????

its strange because as i said, i was in the car and everything was working fine,, then the ac , just stopped then i noticed the gadge and could'nt open the windows or lock the doors

thanks for your help

May not be a biggee, jujukit . . . this may sound a little "far-fetched" but it could be a defective ignition switch.

Default Same experience

I have just encountered virtually same thing. 1990 Camry DX V6 2.5L The AC & pwr windows & automatic shoulder belts just quit working. Power locks are funtioning normally. All lights and signal work normally as well as radio. Veh runs just fine. Am attempting to find answer to which 'relay' as well - will post w\any info I come up with

There is more than one fuse block on those, plus fusible links. Get a manual and check them all out. Sometimes, one system is affected by another.

I recieved info listing multiple relays and circut breakers to change. BUT -
I found a 7.5 amp fuse blown at drivers side kick panel - replaced it and AC started working \ windows started working \ shoulder belts started working. Check it out !!

You say the fuses all "look OK", but, have you checked both the ones under the dash (kick panel) and the ones under the hood, both in the box with the main and headlight relays, and the separate fuses next to the battery + terminal? I'm going by how this is set up on my 87 Camry, IIRC they didn't change much from 87 to 90.

Look in your owner's manual, I think you will find all the stuff you "lost" is on a single fuse or circuit breaker.

Some fuses are not real obvious when they are blown. Inspect carefully in good light, test with a VOM or other tester, or just try a replacement...
