I already said...some of you females want your SUVs so you can look fashionable. That's fine, do you. But don't try to claim that your SUVs are any "safer" than the other cars on the road.
Show me the physics of how they aren't....not propaganda or unrelated recall information that sidesteps the facts. The last time I checked, handling wasn't much of an issue for 90 percent of the population driving 30 miles an hour and sitting in traffic jams. Doing the calculations, maybe you could use a real life example like my car gets hit by a drunk driver or somebody runs a red light and hits me.
You know, mass and time calculations including crush space and resulting differences in acceleration of occupants inside the passenger compartment. Something that an obviously smarter male should know off the top of his head.

Ah - I'm not a female. And, I WILL claim that my SUV's are "safer" -
driven them both. you cannot seriously compare the handlingof an x5 to an slk. on second thought it is you that brought it up so i shouldn't be that surprised!

personally if i was to be hit by anything i'd rather be in the x5. if i was going 65 and i wanted to avoid an accident i'd rather be in the slk.

X5? Slk?
Let me guess...your one of the wealthy libs that feels everyone should sacrifice...well, except them of course. That would be uncivilized.
Conservation is good, yes but your idea at it's core is anti-american. There are other ways do to this without government control.

Lisa Lopes was not "propaganda", it happened. Mitisubishi was on a tear partially because of it. Recall information is directly related, because err, a steering wheel snapping off at 30 mph is just as dangerous as anything else. You do realize that, right?
You're smart enough to use Google. I shouldn't have to do this for you.
