When I lived near an us army base that trained NATO pilots, all the pilots from Denmark and Norway and some from the Netherlands always bought up Camaros and Mustangs to take back home.
In fact in Sweden, the Camaro Cup is one of the most popular motor racing championships in that country. It's been running for years.
I've heard of some American muscle in Europe, but quite frankly I always figured they turned their noses up at us/hating American iron.
That makes two of us... turns out we are pretty wrong lol. However I think you would be hardpressed to seen this type of thing in France. If you think about it, it does make a little bit of sense. There are plenty of Americans that are into European cars so why would there not be the reverse of that? Thing with American muscle cars is that the average joe could actually afford a car that would pin you to the seat... Yeah, sure in cases handling was sacrificed but in only in an effort to maintain an affordable price. But what makes them really great is that nowadays they can come in any flavor you want based on how much you want to shell out. Its great!
price is just now about 12,50 pr. litre
that is 2,2 dollars for 1 litre.
and in a us gallon, its about 4 litre
altso 9 dollars pr.gallon
wow we pay a $1.06 a liter here in vancouver, canada so around $4.25 a gallon here of regular it was down to .89 cents before summer so it was around $3.56 a gallon but where I live we have the highest gas tax in the country.
@Wanneroo: Camaro cup sure is fun to watch, but i'd hate to pay for those tires, those camaros sure burn some rubber during one race.. According to me it´s more fun to watch than STCC. (Camaro cup is run as one of the sideshows to STCC (Swedish Touring Car Championship). I sure enjoy the gasprice here in the US - you americans are spoiled
