Tell wife to pound sand. THe Hatch is the only one worth buying. Trust me, I work next to the biggest volume Subaru dealer in the country.

I'm not going to tell the person who would be driving the car 80% of the time to "pound sand." She is not going to drive a car she hates just to make me happy.

And for the record, if I want advice about how to conduct my marital relationship, I'll go to the Relationships forum and do it. Otherwise, MYOFB.

Speaking of new STIs, I was next to a new hatch tonight that was done up real nice. Was lowered with some tasteful black wheels, Spearco intercooler, exhaust (to let the world hear that glorious flat-4 burble), etc. I grabbed a quick vid of it pulling away, will post it up later. I must admit the h/b looks are really growing on me, especially the front end.

I owned an 01 WRX and yeah, it was both hard to get and did sell very well when I was done with it.

I regret selling it, and like one poster mentioned, I'm torn up about Subaru right now. They've done well moving the brand "one notch up" . I LOVE the outback with the 2.5T, but I guess the weight keeps the mpg down. I was also schocked to find the Forrester 2.5T is less than the Outback with the same motor. Sure I'm tempted to get the WRX with the hatch, but I figure if I'm going back to a small turbo hatch, why not get the Mini Cooper S JCW? It's not as fast, and it's smaller, but fun per gallon is higher.

Ha! Sounds like she has your balls in her purse. No offense or anything, I've been there.

Like I said. My relationship with my spouse is my business, not yours. Butt out.

Yeah, My ex wife tried pulling that crap, telling me what I was going to buy with my own money.

One of the reasons she's my EX wife. And further more, if I'm buying the vehicle, I'm getting what I want to buy. It's not open for discussion.

Good for you. What the hell does any of this have to do with the WRX getting a horsepower boost?

Dude, seriously, shut it. Are we discussing WRX's here or how your wife left you?

Anyone remember the WRX 22B? Id love to see Subaru reincarnate that nameplate on the current model and make it desireable.

22B is long gone buddy. Not like we ever had it in the states anyway.
