Hi, Turbo kit what i know exist for long time. The kit is components inside turbo. Turbine shaft, bearing, seals, turbines and some washers or shims. nuts. The most of the time the casing of the turbo is nothing wrong with it. So is not necessary to replaced. The quality of the turbo kit going to be make it according the specification and the performance of the turbo. They are manufacturer they recondition the turbo by fitting new kit and same time they are others they fit turbo kit from another second hand turbo. The recondition turbo just to save money to buy new one. And if we don't have trust on that we should just buy new if we can afford.
I don't see the problem to fit new turbo kit.

I love one of the video's comments. "A smart car could fly and it would still suck". Hahaha.

If the second video is real then good luck on getting the Smart registered and inspected in California and several other states.
